It was a busy weekend, soo warm, we looked like tomatoes behind our market tables. Lots of people and lots of fun. I'm still so tired that I did not really get started working. I made these Christmas card for Stockholms Stadsmission, the cards can be purchased in their secound hand stores and on their webshop and all the money goes to support their work.

I am at the train to Uppsala, to pick up all the christmas porclean, tomorrow it is the yearly christmas market at konstfack, oh how i long!

The small factory is running, and my Mum has done so much sweat bowls, that I am ready to start decorating with red and blue little helpers. And look at these lovely lady spoons! (And this is the first time I am blogging from my iPhone, but not the last!)

There is so much happening right now, lots of fun to work with, lots of fun to think about, sometimes one wishes that the day had at least two-three hours more each day:)

I just cut and cut and fold and glue, most all day! Now I'm going into town and check out different papers, both surfaces and hues. Watch this impressive paper cuts by Jen Stark, incredible!

Yesterday I came home from England, it was a really nice trip, the trees was autumn, but the air was warm like summer. I lugged around on my camera all the time ready to shoot all possible fine red-yellow-green-trees. But now that I would blog and connect with this paper cut I did today, I realized that I have not photographed a picture which is not my family and also all the photos taken indoors, can't belive! :)
But anyway, I made this motif for exactly four years ago, and I thought about it on the airplane yesterday. I have not found it anywhere at home or on the computer so I did it again instead. This song was one of my favorter as a teenager.

Today I got a little longing for this beautiful island, with these nice places, this small shop (Lilla fabriken) and after that little lovely gray lighthouse keeper Tuss.

Moving

Hello, I'm back again! It is autumn outside and a lot of apples and pears fill the trees. I have moved into a new apartment, and already the floors are filled with paper cuts like small leaves, so the fall makes itself felt even inside. I have just wrapped this book and put it in the mailbox on the way to Amsterdam. And this afternoon this Tilly & Gul poster will move to another home in Stockholm. I hope you had a nice summer! I think it feels great to become autumn and to be back at my desk! (even though it is so messy, so messy here!)

My bachelor project is finally finished, it feels so wonderful, it has been the most stressful time in my life, but very fun too! The project is a children's book with illustrations made of folding paper. The story is called "Tilly and Gul, an adventure at sea!".
The exhibition at Konstfack will run until this Sunday, welcome! If you want to see more pictures from the book, you can look at my flickr or my website. Me and my good friend Malin ( she is one of my absolute favorite illustrator ) share a room, check out her stuff. She has made ​​a children's book about a few cones. I am longing for Gotland and summer and beautiful lighthouses and little time off, but I can not complain, for it is very fun to build the story around these small characters...
