Here is a mixture of two pictures I did last summer.
I'll start with a big 3D paper project and now I'm making myself ready ... it will be exciting, it all comes presented in an exhibition this spring, but as always it's a bit hard to start. Now I sit at my desk and have stocked up with good radio programs and mp3 books.

Last Thursday it was the released for my stamps. I signed and meet a lots of stamp collectors from all over Sweden. I got the feeling of my old "rock star dream" live for a few hours and it suited me well :)

It was a busy weekend, soo warm, we looked like tomatoes behind our market tables. Lots of people and lots of fun. I'm still so tired that I did not really get started working. I made these Christmas card for Stockholms Stadsmission, the cards can be purchased in their secound hand stores and on their webshop and all the money goes to support their work.

Yesterday I came home from England, it was a really nice trip, the trees was autumn, but the air was warm like summer. I lugged around on my camera all the time ready to shoot all possible fine red-yellow-green-trees. But now that I would blog and connect with this paper cut I did today, I realized that I have not photographed a picture which is not my family and also all the photos taken indoors, can't belive! :)
But anyway, I made this motif for exactly four years ago, and I thought about it on the airplane yesterday. I have not found it anywhere at home or on the computer so I did it again instead. This song was one of my favorter as a teenager.

Hello, I'm back again! It is autumn outside and a lot of apples and pears fill the trees. I have moved into a new apartment, and already the floors are filled with paper cuts like small leaves, so the fall makes itself felt even inside. I have just wrapped this book and put it in the mailbox on the way to Amsterdam. And this afternoon this Tilly & Gul poster will move to another home in Stockholm. I hope you had a nice summer! I think it feels great to become autumn and to be back at my desk! (even though it is so messy, so messy here!)

My bachelor project is finally finished, it feels so wonderful, it has been the most stressful time in my life, but very fun too! The project is a children's book with illustrations made of folding paper. The story is called "Tilly and Gul, an adventure at sea!".
The exhibition at Konstfack will run until this Sunday, welcome! If you want to see more pictures from the book, you can look at my flickr or my website. Me and my good friend Malin ( she is one of my absolute favorite illustrator ) share a room, check out her stuff. She has made a children's book about a few cones. This week I have lived on Gotland in my parents summer house. It is a desolate and beautiful snowy landscape, but so cold! Most of the time I sit in the car and pretend I am out there. I have never seen the sea in winter before, and it was almost more powerful than I expected. These lighthouses are my favorite places on earth. Tomorrow I go back to Stockholm and back in business again :) it feels great because I have find out what I will do for my bachelor project, thanks Gotland and a big hug to the lighthouse of Närsholmen!

This is one of my favorite magazines. If you have not seen it before, you must, there is so much nice to find! It is a Japanese graphic design issue called idea with a lot of illustration and handcraft too. Inspired by this I cooked a Japanese dish, Yakiniku a la Sweden a la Fideli!

Today it is exactly a month until the Birre-book comes out! I can not believe!
Look at the tiny little book (by Irma Boom), with a large amazing and inspiring content, among other things Yoshitoma Nara presented, I love his pictures.

Today is one of the most beautiful days this winter, I have never seen the sun so strong before, amazing! I took a walk but stopped and shut my eyes against the sun, walked, stopped, walked stopped... On the way home I past the library and borrowed a bunch of audio books, one of my favorite pastimes! :)
And for the moment I sit at my desk and takes care of this and that. Yesterday I actually had my "last" lecture in school ever, and from this Monday I will start with my bachelor project, that will go on throughout the spring. Have not really decided what to do yet, but it feels really nice that I will be able to dispose my time as I want and work on my own projects.

The story about Birre is almost finished and my little Christmas factory is in full swing! It has been a really busy autumn, but now it is so fun to cutting and folding paper to small animals and decorating porcelain for Christmas. Actually, I already started to have real Christmas spirit! Last week, we had a visiting scholars from USA, Brian Rea. It was a really inspiring week. One of the one-day- assignment we got was to illustrate with only letters a quote. I chose a quote by Marie Antoniette "If they have no bread, then let them eat cake". So I went home and baked breads and a rather ugly cake... my idea was to make it nice and clean, but it was harder than I thought, but anyway, it was really fun.

Today I am at home making a lot of food and cutting out in paper, a glorious day, and my orchid is flowering as never before! My plan is to send the paper cut to a competition. I have never be attending in a competiton before, but may be this time. Before christmas, we had a work in school, to study a manifest of an artist/architect... and I looked at Bruce Mau's "Incomplete manifesto for growth" – I love it, but he is telling "Don't enter awards competitions. Just don't. It's not good for you." And may be he's right...
Tomorrow, me and Richard will be document our works with our new camera(so fun!) so we can make our portfolies.

Now, I am home at my parents house for Christmas, it is amazing! My sister is baking and on the table it was a letter to me from my brother in Taiwan. This small elephant was in the package, and inside its stomach, it is an USB, suprise! It made me very happy!

Det här blev ett likt inlägg som mitt förra, men jag är så sugen på att blogga och dessutom har jag jobbat på som en liten fabrik idag med dekalerna och nu är dessa klara, har blivit ännu fler, signerade på baksidan och nästa steg är bara in i ugnen, m m m!
Inom sinom tid öppnar min webshop där dessa bland annat kommer att säljas! Så roligt! Vintern närmar sig, idag snöade det, konstigt men ganska skönt. Egentligen ett perfekt jobbväder. Imorgon ska jag kavla ny porslinslera så att jag kan göra ännu fler julgranshängen, ser fram emot det.
